No appointment is required, though, so walking in during business hours works too and we will write your estimate while you wait. Yes. We work with all rental car companies, and for our Tesla customers we also have our own VIP concierge fleet of Tesla Model 3s and Model Ys, offered subject to availability. That means staying in a vehicle you already know how to drive, with no gas station runs while yours is in the shop, since you charge it the way you already charge your own. Yes. Gas-powered cars, trucks, and SUVs, along with non-Tesla EVs, get the same OEM-approved procedures, computerized measuring equipment, and limited lifetime warranty. Your free estimate is written at our Des Moines shop no matter what you drive, so walk in during business hours or call ahead and schedule, whichever is easier. The repair itself happens at our Burien facility, which isn't set up for walk-ins, so we'll arrange that drop-off with you over the phone.

No. In Washington, and in most states, the law gives you, not your insurer, the right to choose your own repair shop, even if your insurance company recommends a preferred vendor or “network” shop. Insurers can suggest a shop, but they can't require you to use one. We work with all insurance carriers, so choosing Murray's CARSTAR doesn't complicate your claim even if we weren't the shop your insurer first suggested. See our Insurance page for more.

We work with all insurance carriers. Whoever you're insured with, we coordinate the claim directly with your adjuster and bill them for covered repairs.

Murray's Collision Group offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all repairs, for as long as you own your vehicle, and it applies at both our Des Moines shop and our Burien facility. Repairs at Des Moines additionally carry CARSTAR's Limited Five-Year Nationwide Warranty, honored at all CARSTAR locations across the USA and Canada. Only a certified shop can repair a Tesla safely and correctly. Tesla's aluminum body, high-voltage battery, and driver-assist sensors demand specialized certification, tools, and calibration.
